The following are instruction's and tip's for using Child Safe.
List Child Save Locations:
1. Click the menu bar on Child Safe.
Option 1: Click List Child Safe Location.
Option 2: Input ctrl+L.
Option 3: Click List Child Safe Locations button.
Note: All the following instructions require Child Safe to be Off.
Turn On Child Guard:
1. Click the menu bar on Child Safe.
2. Click Child Guard On. Note: Click on Child Guard On then activate Child
Safe.
Turn On Child Save:
1. Click the menu bar on Child Safe.
2. Click Child Safe On.
Turn Child Safe Off:
1. Click the menu bar on Child Safe.
2. Click Child Safe Off.
3. Input password.
4. Click on OK.
5. Exit the program (to reset all settings).
6. Return to the program.
Add Child Safe Web Page Location:
1. Select a Child Safe Web Page.
2. Allow the page to completely loaded.
3. Click the menu bar on Child Safe (for Option 1).
Option 1: Click Add Child Safe Location.
Option 2: Input ctrl+A.
Option 3: Click Add to Child Safe button.
Delete Child Safe Web Page Location:
1. Select a Child Safe Web Page to delete.
2.Allow the page to completely loaded.
3. Click the menu bar on Child Safe (for Option 1).
Option1: Click Add Delete Child Safe Location.
Option2: Input ctrl+D.
Change Child Save Password:
1. Click the menu bar on Child Safe.
2. Click Change Password.
3. Input Old Password.
4. Input New Password.
5. Confirm New Password.
6. Click on OK.
Lock Current Web Page:
1. Select a Web Page.
2. Allow the page to completely loaded.
3. Click the menu bar on Lock Current web Page.
Unlock Current Web Page:
1. Select a Web Page.
2. Allow the page to completely loaded.
3. Click the menu bar on Unlock Current web Page.
Tips to keep your child safe:
When Child Safe is on all the Web Pages they visit are added to the Web Page Listing. By clearing the Web Page listing before each new session then viewing it with Child Safe Off this will obtain a complete history of the child Web viewing.
This will also list the Web Pages they were unsuccessful viewing. Copy down the questionable Web Pages and view them with Child Safe On. When a Web Page bypasses Child Safe, lock the offending web page or delete the Child Safe Web Page that allowed access.
