Child Safe Protection:
1. Child Safe is a feature of pdc Browser this feature allows viewing Web Pages that are pre selected. Use
CAUTION when adding the Web Pages check links to other Web Pages for material that is inappropriate for the child’s viewing.
2. Child Safe has a filter that restricts a large amount of inappropriate web pages.
CAUTION
filtering is not foolproof, the best filter is child supervision.
3. Child Safe has a function that allows web pages to be locked and blocked in the child safe mode. The best time to lock Web Pages is when in the pre-selecting process.
Note: When allowing access to the computer by turning Child Guard Off do the
following to prevent the use of other Web Browser create an embedded folder and move the browser to that folder.
This in not required when Child Guard is activated.
Instructions:
Creating folder:
1. Go to Start and click on help.
2. Select Index.
3. Input ( folders, creating).
4. Follow the instructions to create a folder.
Moving files:
1. Go to Start and click on help.
2. Select Index.
3. Input ( folders, moving).
4. Follow the instructions to create a folder.
Controlling access to files:
1. Go to Start and click on help.
2. Select Index.
3. Input ( folders, controlling access to).
4. Click on display.
5. Click on Controlling access to folders and printers
6. Click on display.
7. Follow the instructions to controlling access to folder use password.

CAUTION:
Write down your password and place in a safe place. If you forget
your password you will have to reload the program or call pdc to bypass the log in password.
