All calculation should be verified by a professional engineer before using. The considerations of structural engineering far exceed the capability of this program. When calculating beam load deflection and considering the beam weight in the calculation the actual deflection will be lower than the calculated deflection. This occurs when the center of gravity of the load and the center of gravity of the beam is different. Precise calculations require each calculation be considered and calculated.
