 Beam Load     

Instructions Beam--Load:

Beam--Load Menu:
This menu allows the calculation of stress, deflection and shear for mechanical and structural engineering applications. Use this menu in conjunction with the X, Y and A through F register. The calculator screen allows the viewing of the current load application. Results of the calculation are viewed in the calculation readout window. Instruction window and tool tips will guide you through each step.

Input required shape's information:
Two options are available to input structural shape's information.
Option 1:
Select Structural shapes and calculate the shape.
Option 2:
When information on the structural shape is not in the calculator or information is required from a structural publication the beam load calculation provides a way to input this information. When you input the beam information and click on the calculator screen, provided you do not calculate a shape, this will open the structural input form. Input the information and click on enter, this will return you to the calculator. Click on the calculator screen this will continue the calculation.

Select Shapes key:
The select shapes key is used to select an existing shape. Select an existing shape and click on SELECT SHAPE then click on ENTER. 

Save Shape Key:
Save shape key is used to save an existing shape. To save a shape input information and click on SAVE SHAPE. 

Delete Shape key:
Delete shapes key is used to delete an existing shape. To delete existing shape select shape and click on DELETE SHAPE.
