Example calculation of a cantilever beam 90 inches long with a
500 pound uniform load. The beam configuration is a rectangular structural shape 2 inch by 6 inch.
1. Click on Structural Shapes.
2. Select Calculate Shape.
3. Click on Rectangular.
4. Check on 2 numerical pad.
5. Click on A transfer key.
6. Click on 6 numerical pad.
7. Click on B. transfer key.
8. Click on calculator screen.
The following will appear in the calculation readout window.
